I\u00a0decided to visit Sardinia – the second biggest island of the Mediterranean in the low season for several reasons. Firstly, very cheap flight tickets (\u20ac40 direct return flight from Bratislava to Alghero). Secondly, not a lot of tourists on the island. And that is why I was able to spend amazing seven days in Sardinia and enjoy it to the fullest.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

ACCOMMODATION <\/strong><\/h2>\n

In Algero I had two types accommodation. The first night I stayed in a nice, clean, female bedroom in a hostel Piccolo Catalunya<\/u><\/strong> for <\/u>\u20ac<\/u>26 a night<\/u>. The next day early morning I travelled to Cagliari where I had free accommodation for two nights via couchsurfing<\/strong><\/a>. <\/u>And the last 4 nights in Sardinia I spent in a private accommodation called La Posento<\/u><\/strong> in Alghero for <\/u>\u20ac<\/u>150<\/u>. If you want to contact the owner of La Posento, shoot me a message and I can pass you his number. It might be cheaper than via booking.<\/p>\n

TRANSPORTATION <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Within seven days I tried a bit of everything. I used local buses and trains<\/u>, too. The tickets can be bought in advance via the app DropTicket or TrenItalia<\/a><\/strong>. I also tried blablacar app<\/u><\/strong><\/a> (it worked perfectly) and I also hitchhiked<\/u> which had brought me the biggest joy and the sense of an adventure.<\/p>
